Charges on a market trade
All hook trading charges are denominated in backing. An ordinary token transfer carries no Sinjoh transfer tax. One basis point is 0.01%; 100 bps is 1%.
| Charge | Rate | Destination |
|---|---|---|
| Base | 100 bps | 30 bps Platform; 70 bps Floor, or Treasury when the floor is off. |
| Creator | Current directional rate, up to 2,500 bps | First 900 bps to Creator revenue; excess to Floor/Treasury. |
| Automation contribution | 1% of the Creator-revenue credit | Deducted from that credit; it is not an extra 1% trade tax. |
| Launch surcharge | 9,900 / 2,475 / 619 / 155 / 39 bps at seconds 0 / 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 | Floor/Treasury. Zero from second 5; first buy and migrated markets are exempt. |
| Optional sell surcharge | 400 bps when its threshold is met | Floor/Treasury. |
Rounding and the combined-rate cap
tax(gross, bps) = ceil(gross × bps / 10,000)
grossForNet(net, bps) = ceil(net × 10,000 / (10,000 − bps))
combined rate ≤ 9,900 bpsThe launch surcharge is reduced as necessary to enforce the combined cap; other fee allocations are not rewritten to fit it. Allocation dust goes to Floor/Treasury. Exact-output gross-up uses conservative integer rounding and must reconcile to the final net amount actually paid.
Worked allocation
For 1,000 backing of taxable execution, a 3% creator rate and no surcharge produce 3 Platform, 7 Floor/Treasury and 30 Creator revenue before the Automation deduction. Automation receives 0.30 from that creator credit, leaving 29.70 for the creator destination. A route then applies its separate intake fee when it receives new creator revenue.
| Separate fee | When charged |
|---|---|
| Creator-route intake: 1% | Once on new backing intake, before action allocation. Held allocations and dust do not pay it again. |
| Unsolicited-asset sweep: 1% | Once on actual successful backing output, not on failed input conversion. |
| Platform router intake: none | It does not charge a second route/sweep processing fee. |
| Provider / gas / external pool costs | Separate from hook taxes; inspect the selected quote and wallet transaction. |
The sell-surcharge threshold
When enabled, the 400 bps surcharge applies when the executed end tick is at or below the smoothed-average tick minus 513 in token-price orientation. For exact-output sells, the test uses the end tick calculated without that surcharge, because adding it changes the gross amount needed. Read execution-matching quotes rather than reconstructing the condition from a rounded screen price.
