Sweeps & unsolicited assets
How eligible extra inventory becomes market reserves without charging failed conversions.
On this page
Sweeps start with eligible inventory
A vault can receive assets outside ordinary reserve deposits. Keepers may convert eligible unsolicited inventory into that market’s backing. Protected backing, tracked investment positions and other people’s reserved reward obligations are not sweepable inventory merely because they appear in a balance.
Charge successful output once
service fee = ceil(actual backing output / 100)
reserve credit = actual backing output − service fee
failed conversion: no service fee and no reserve creditEach asset is processed as an isolated atomic operation. A failure preserves its input for later work without reverting independent successful assets. The successful 1% output fee goes to the platform router; the remaining output goes to this market’s floor, or its treasury when the floor is disabled.
Execution economics and fee realization
Keepers compare expected earned fee revenue with marginal execution gas and the appropriately allocated batch/realization cost. Uneconomic dust can accumulate for a later attempt. Estimates are not reserve charges or a promise that a failed transaction recovers gas.
Realizing earned protocol revenue to WETH uses the platform router’s actions and approved paths. It incurs no second router intake fee. Once funds are inside a Safe, keeper authority does not let the keeper convert that Safe’s holdings.
Manual disposal
Any current Safe can invoke permitted cleanup of eligible unwanted platform inventory to 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD. This is a transfer, not necessarily an ERC-20 burn. It does not authorize taking assets from holder wallets, protected floor backing, investment positions or reserved reward balances. A failed swap does not automatically trigger disposal.
